Leaders are accountable for your people and to your people in times of crisis. There are two critical keys to success in leading teams in times in crisis:
- Empahty is a critical aspect of leading in crisis. Knowing your employees well not just their stresses with work, but also how their families are being impacted.
- Composure sets the tone for the organization in organization. If the leader is calm and composed during a crisis, and still takes the time to build consensus as much as possible, it has a calming effect on the organization.
